Squanto’s Journey: The Story of the First Thanksgiving

Mayflowerlanded on the shores inhabited by the Pokanoket folks, and it was Squanto who welcomed the newcomers and taught them survive within the rugged land they referred to as Plymouth. He confirmed them plant corn, beans, and squash, and hunt and fish. And when harvest was gathered within the fall, the 2 peoples feasted collectively within the spirit of peace and brotherhood.
