College Life in Columbus, Indiana in the 1930s

Not fairly three years previous on the time of the Inventory Market Crash in October 1929, the writer spent the following twelve years experiencing the implications of the Nice Melancholy. Kindergarten in 1931 started college days that proceeded in lockstep with the despair years. These had been life shaping experiences going down at a time of rising unrest amongst nations. Private values had been formed by the challenges of day by day residing. Everybody was affected by the despair in a single diploma or one other. These recollections of faculty days, altering household construction, day after day coping, offers a window on this altering, scene from the attitude of a rising youngster.
